ALABAMA STATE MANDATORY COMPETITIONS:
Personal Introduction:
Contestants will have 60 seconds to tell the judges about themselves. Attire for this competition is your official America's Miss Agribusiness t-shirt and Denim Bottoms (no rips or tears please).
Evening Wear:
Your Evening Wear should be floor length (exception: Baby, Tiny & Little Miss may wear either a short dress or floor length dress) ... This can be a traditional pageant gown or a split skirt type of evening outfit. The important thing is that it looks good ON YOU, AND YOU FEEL GOOD IN IT!
Ask yourself this question: If I were to represent America's Miss Agribusiness Program at a formal occasion "What would I wear?".

ALABAMA STATE OPTIONAL COMPETITIONS:
(Contestants must compete in at least one optional, it takes one optional to obtain a complete score. It is highly advisable that you compete in more than one optional).
WESTERN WEAR: (Theme Wear)
Show us your sense of style.
Just remember that we are a family program, modesty is encouraged.
Boots, Jeans, Hat - or you can wear a more "sparkly" Western Wear outfit. It's all up to you!
STATE FASHIONISTA:
Show us your sense of style.
Just remember that we are a family program, modesty is encouraged.
Using an agricultural product that your state produces as a "Theme", create an outfit.
ESSAY:
One page typed or handwritten. Topic to be announced.
INTERVIEW:
Personal interview with the judges. You will receive a questionnaire in your check-in packet to fill out and submit to judges. Attire is at the same as your Personal Introduction outfit (jeans and official America's Miss Agribusiness T-Shirt).

JUDGING:
Contestants will be judged on Poise/Stage Presence, Personality on stage, and Overall Appearance. Your overall score is obtained by adding your two Mandatory Competitions to your ONE HIGHEST OPTIONAL SCORE: PERSONAL INTRODUCTION + EVENING WEAR + YOUR ONE HIGHEST OPTIONAL = YOUR SCORE
In case of a tie, your two highest optionals will be used to determine your overall score. Example: Personal Introduction + Evening Wear + Your first highest optional + your second highest optional = YOUR SCORE in case of a tie.

STATE QUEENS will receive:
Divisional Queens will receive their beautiful America's Miss Agriculture Official State Sash and Crown, their prize bag (to include logo merchandise), and their Basic Entry Fee to our National America's Miss Agribusiness Pageant to be held October 16-17, 2020 in beautiful Birmingham (Hoover) Alabama!
STATE ALTERNATES will receive:
Alternates will receive a beautiful America's Miss Agribusiness prize bag along with a Gift Certificate to register for Nationals 2020 with their Basic Entry Fee Paid or they can choose to continue their reign as a County Queen and return to State 2021 with their Basic Entry Fee Paid!

2020 AMERICA'S MISS AGRIBUSINESS SIGNATURE TITLES:
(included in Entry Fee)
Our Signature Titles are very important to America’s Miss Agribusiness organization. They help to fund our Scholarship and as we grow they will help to fund “trips” to various Agriculture Shows and Meetings across the country. Giving our Queens a voice.
ALABAMAS AMERICA'S MISS SPIRIT OF AGRIBUSINESS:
This Queen will be chosen by a panel of judges and directors. She will be the Queen whom the panel feels best represents the Spirit of our program. Food Donations, Referrals, and Appearances on behalf of America’s Miss Agribusiness will all be taken into consideration.
Each County Queen MUST bring a Minimum of 25 Non-perishable Food Items for Donation!
ALABAMAS AMERICA'S ROYAL MISS AGRIBUSINESS:
The Queen who collects the most $1 votes is awarded the title of our State Royal Miss. This is a very important program because the proceeds from this program help fund our Scholarship Program. Queen’s Competing at State will have their picture posted on the Royal Miss Voting page once they reach 50 Votes. Remember, everyone can vote, friends, family, etc. Voters can purchase as many votes as they like and can vote as many times as they like.
ALABAMAS AMERICA'S MISS AGRIBUSINESS, COVER MISS:
The Queen who sells the most in sponsorships for our 2020 State America’s Miss Agribusiness Program is awarded this coveted title. She will receive her Queen's Package along with other prizes and her picture on the cover of our 2020 State America's Miss Agribusiness Keepsake and Official Program.

ALABAMAS AMERICA'S MISS AGRIBUSINESS, MISS PHOTOGENIC
Contestants should submit at least 3 photos. They can be professionally made or you can create them yourself but NO selfies, please! Photos can be black/white or color, full body or headshots but MUST be 8x10 in size.
**Please note that highly photoshopped photographs tend to be scored lower.
Photo entries are to be turned in at state check-in, this optional leads to a State Title and your Basic Entry Fee Paid at Nationals 2020!
